HOW TO USE PRO TIPS!

ProSol Works uses a unique formula that captures dried organic materials, softens the gunk, and releases it from the surface for simple cleaning.   It works well in almost every area of the home.  Once the releasing process is complete, it is very simple to wipe away any dirt, grime, or grease.


If you have cleaned areas of the home before, then you know the basic steps. But ProSol Works is a bit different.

ProSol Works Considerations

Money Saving Cleaner

The key for ProSol Works to really stand out is to allow it to do its thing. Spray it on the surface that needs to be cleaned and then wait.


Waiting in the hardest part but you know the saying work smarter not harder right? Well, that saying is very true when using ProSol Works.


The length of time you need to wait depends largely on how the stuck on the gunk is. In general, though, you should give a few seconds to a couple of minutes for the solution to really do its job.



We have 5 levels of dilution recommended for various types of jobs. x-lite, lite, medium, heavy and x-heavy strengths. Refer to the dilution recommendation towards the bottom of this page for more details.

Have you ever wondered that after you wipe down the cooktop you see greasy streaks? That's because most cleaners just smear around the grease rather than lift it up off the surface and is carried away.  


Spray on Bugs N All let it sit for a few seconds and wipe it. Then give it a quick dry and you'll see something most cleaners have not achieved.

I hate the streaks that other glass cleaners leave behind. With ProSol Works xlite solution, I can coat. the glass with a fine mist and wipe it dry for a streak-free shine.

Clothing stains are one of the most common problems facing homemakers.  ProSol Works makes for a nice alternative to cleaners that just doesn't seem to get the job done. 


We recommend dabbing the stain with an x-Heavy solution and or allow the stain to soak in a small amount of solution for 24 hours. 


Then rub the fabric together and put it into the wash. Repeat as necessary. Do not tumble dry clothes with remaining stains.

Prosol Works Rescues Glass Pan 

After burning the chicken drummies, the glass pan looks nearly impossible to clean. After spraying ProSol Works into the pan and let it sit for 5 minutes, the pan cleaned up quickly. They scraped the bottom and all the burnt on foot let go. The cleanup was pretty simple.

How To Dilute ProSol Works 


The concentrate shows 4 different dilution ratios measured by Teaspoons, Tablespoons, 1/4 cup, and 1/2 cup concentrate to approximately 1 quart of water.  


After you have made your selected dilution mark that dilution on the spray bottle with a marketer so you know for future refills how you mixed it up. 


The dilutions are identified by x-lite, lite, medium, and heavy. We generally recommend the medium solution for general cleaning. But the x-lite for dusting and window cleaning. 


We encourage you to find which solution works best for you.  You can order more empty spray bottles if you want to have more dilution varieties around the house. 

More about Removing Stains


There is no one stain remover that will work on all stains. ProSol Works is a great product that aids in the fight against setting stains in for life. 


We have found that soaking the stain for 24 hours in full strength solution works best for the vast majority of stains. But Before you put the item in the laundry, use another stain treater that is more thick t help keep ProSol Works inside the fabrics while washing. 


This image to the right shows a white shirt that used to have a large red wine stain all over it.  ProSol Work worked amazingly well.

ProSol Works Specialty Uses

With Self-cleaning ovens nowadays, one would think an oven cleaner would not be a useful thing. But

We've found more people would rather clean it than stink up the whole house.  ProSol Works is pretty good at cleaning the grease and stuck-on food that has not turned to blacken.


To remove the blackened food, try Bar keepers friend powder. You'll still have to scrub the blackened areas but it will come clean.


Similar to the oven. The gas grill can be a nasty mess to clean.  But Soaking the grill parts in a 50/50 solution of ProSol Works and water really makes a big difference.  You will still have to scrub a bit, but it is easier than the alternatives.

Use 1 teaspoon of the solution to 1 quart of water into the empty spray bottle. Spray a fine mist on a microfiber towel and wipe the surface. The microfiber will help catch the dust and the damp towel will help pick up any other dirt.  We have incredible deals on a microfiber towel set in our store.    

The x-lite solution is good for a number of areas in the home including:


  • Dusting

  • Window and mirrors

  • Simple Cleaning


The lite solution is mixed with 2 Tablespoons of concentrate to about 1 Quart of Water into the spray bottle. It can also be put into another cleaning machine. 

The same solution can be put into a small bucket and used with a sponge mop. We recommend the water should be warm in the bucket. The warm water will help release stuck-on foods. 

The Lite solution works well for cleaning hard floors including tile, stone, hardwood, vinyl, and engineered flooring. 

The medium solution is considered your general cleaner, degreaser, and lite stain fighter.  


It is mixed with 1/4 cup solution and approximately 1-quart water.  


The solution is great for your everyday, countertop, and stovetop kitchen cleaning. Wiping down those cupboards. Spot clean hard-surfaced floors and carpet stains. It is a great around the home cleaning product.

The Heavy solution is your go-to product for tough stains and heavy degreasing tasks. 


It is mixed 50/50. 2 cups solution and 2 cups water. 


When the medium solution doesn't perform, it's time to bring out the big guns.   

We left a spot to find your custom solution.  Simply use a marker to write in the dilution ratio and what it is used for.  

We recommend, filling the spray bottle at least 1/2 to 3/4 full with water before adding any concentrate. This will help prevent foaming. Once all the measured concentrate has been added, top the spray bottle with water.  Put the sprayer on the bottle tightly and give the bottle a slight shake before using to ensurer the concentrate gets fully mixed together.
